The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday summoned former finance minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Tarin and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Finance Taimur Khan Jhagra in audio leak case tomorrow, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

An audio of a telephonic conversation between Tarin and Jhagra had gone viral not long ago in which the former could be heard telling the latter to write a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) against the government of Pakistan ahead of the country’s deal with the international money lending organisation.

The coalition government tried to portray it as an effort by the PTI to scuttle the expected agreement with the Fund, which was round the corner in those days.
