The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi on Tuesday categorically rejected news of a mother of three getting position in matriculation board examinations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement it said that the twitter account, on which the woman’s picture with a caption underneath was shared, was fake.
Distancing itself from the fake social media account, the Board said in this connection it had written letters to the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing and other concerned departments on several occasions, but in vain.
The Board regretted that despite denial by one of its officials, a news website declared that the twitter account in question was the Board’s official account. “Truth of the matter is that the picture of a woman posted on the account was that of Sabrina Khaliq, who is a resident of Kapwarra district of the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” the Board clarified.
