India will now think thousand times before attacking Pakistan, says Sardar Masood Khan

Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and senior diplomat Sardar Masood Khan has stated that the recent Pakistan-Saudi Arabia strategic defence agreement has significantly raised the stakes for India, making any military action against Pakistan far more difficult.

Speaking to a news channel, Masood Khan warned that if India were to make any reckless move, it would now face the combined strength of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He referred to the conflict that occurred in May this year, describing it as an unjustified war imposed by India. According to him, Pakistan responded effectively, and the Pakistan Army demonstrated clear military superiority during the confrontation.

Masood Khan emphasized that following the defence pact, India must think a thousand times before considering any future aggression. He pointed to Saudi Arabia’s substantial economic investments in India and the presence of 3.5 million Indian workers living and working in the Kingdom as factors that add further pressure on New Delhi.

He further noted that the agreement not only fortifies Pakistan’s eastern border but also expands its strategic influence, especially through increased cooperation in defense technology and defense production, potentially boosting Pakistan’s economy as well.

Commenting on India’s regional standing, Khan said New Delhi has already faced setbacks on multiple fronts. He claimed that military defeat, diplomatic isolation, and the failure to control the narrative have left India in a weakened position globally.

In this context, he asserted that the growing defence cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has further undermined India’s stance and bolstered Pakistan’s strategic posture. He added that the international community rejected India’s narrative following the Pahalgam incident, diminishing its credibility.

When asked about the broader geopolitical impact, including on Israel’s vision of a "Greater Israel", Masood Khan pointed out that the map released by Israel includes half of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the scope of its regional ambitions.

He also accused Israel of attempting to fragment Syria, planning to establish a corridor for Druze and other minorities in Lebanon, and refusing to return the Golan Heights to Syria. Furthermore, he condemned Israel’s ongoing actions in Gaza and its longstanding position that Palestinians, as Arabs, should relocate to countries like Egypt, Libya, or Saudi Arabia—moves he sees as part of an effort to establish a purely Zionist state.

Expressing concern over the disunity among Muslim nations, Khan lamented that despite having nearly two billion Muslims worldwide, a 57-member Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a 22-member Arab League, and the wealthy Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Muslim world still lacks a unified defense system.
