Grade-19 officer replaces G-20 officer at Sindh Education Dept

April 21, 2021 12:40 PM

What could be termed a blatant violation of rules, murder of merit and last but not the least violation of the court order, the Sindh Education Department has removed a grade-20 officer to accommodate a grade-19 officer in his place instead, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Quoting sources, the TV channel reported that Chief Programme Manager Reform Support Unit Sindh Muhammad Hanif Channa was removed from the post so that former director general (DG) of Sindh Food Control Authority Asadullah Abro could replace him.

Despite the fact that the Sindh Selection Board has promoted Abro to grade-20, the notification of his promotion is still to be issued.

Channa will continue to hold the post until the notification is not issued.
