Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday visited the North Waziristan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During his visit, PM Shehbaz met and spent time with tribal elders, who welcomed the premier and expressed gratitude to him for visiting the area for the first time after becoming the PM.

The tribal areas said that PM Shehbaz visit to this area shows the attention and concern of the Prime Minister for the tribal districts.

PM Shehbaz thanked the tribal elders for all possible cooperation in the fight against terrorism for a peaceful and stable Pakistan.

The premier also assured the tribal elders that his government would make every effort to facilitate the local population and ensure socio-economic development in return for the war on terror.

PM Shehbaz said that the people of the tribal districts have made great sacrifices and we are indebted to them. PM Shehbaz added that “We will not let their sacrifices go in vain”.

PM Shehbaz said that “Our priority will be to ensure civic amenities for the local community like all over Pakistan”.

For peace, stability and prosperity of Pakistan, the tribal elders assured the premier of their full support.
