Love & romance not substitute for career: Imran Khan's ex-wife

Reham Khan, the British-Pakistani journalist and the ex-wife of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan took to her social media platform Instagram and shared her stance on the life and career of girls.

Taking to Instagram she shared stories that read long notes, she talked about how young girls should follow and take care about themselves first.

Reham tried to make teen girls understand the fact that their career and education is important first than anything else in the world.

She urged the girls not to listen to their moms.

She agreed with the fact that everyone girl or boy in their twenties has a mild crush on someone and nowadays when they saw romantic relationship posts or images promoting couple goals on social media they also yearn to find someone like that.

But to all the teen girls especially she requested to not compromise their education over a guy.

“Love and romance are not a substitute for a career. You need to invest in your own self first. You need to understand yourself first.

What is it that you want from life?

What are your likes and dislikes?

What are your hopes and dreams?

She said that she also made it clear to her two daughters that career comes first, put yourself first, husband and kids when and only if they want.

You make better choices when your own mind and career are in a good place. No other person can come and fix everything for you”, said Reham.
