Khairpur SHO suspended over irresponsible, non-professional attitude

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Sindh Javed Alam Odho suspended Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Mohammad Hashim Hakro from service for adopting a non-professional and irresponsible attitude in a murder case of Khalida Chandio, reported 24News HD TV Channel.

The deceased, who was later identified as Khalida Chandio, was brutally murdered in Tando Masti area of Khairpur due to ‘honor’.

Later, the Inspector-General of Police Sindh, took serious notice of the killing of Khalida Chandio and sought an immediate report from the SHO.

But the SHO adopted an irresponsible and non-professional attitude during the inquiry.

The IG Sindh directed stern action and suspended the SHO from service with immediate disciplinary proceedings against him.

He further said that there is no space for any official who has brought a bad name to the police department.

The IG Sindh said that strict action will be taken against all police officials found involved in these kinds of acts.
