A magistrate Saturday jailed 40 accused involved in the TikToker Ayesha’s molestation case in Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore on Independence Day on a 14 days judicial remand.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the parents of the said accused were also present outside the court and claimed that TikToker Ayesha Akram Baig (victim) called the boys herself in the park on FaceBook (FB) so she should also be arrested.

The Lori Adda Police produced the accused covering their faces with cloths before the Judicial Magistrate in District Court of Lahore and demanded judicial remand for an “identification parade” of them in the jail.

While the accused denied the crime and said they were arrested by the police without reasoning. They said they went to the park for just enjoyment and police arrested them for their photos in the park.

On the other hand, Lahore police had arrested an ill man of age 70 years in the same case while his family claimed that the man did not go to the park on the incident day as he was sick and resting at home.

Anyhow, the police have arrested him from his residence in Shahdara and shifted to CIA Kotwali (police station for investigation).
