Nine soldiers embraced martyrdom and another four sustained wound in a road accident near Shujaabad area of Bagh Sunday, ISPR reported.

According to the details, the army vehicle fell into a Nullah early this morning during a routine military duty in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir area. 

In the accident, nine soldiers embraced shahadat while 4 injured who have been shifted to CMH Rawalpindi.

Funeral prayers of all martyred soldiers were offered at Mangla garrison on Sunday noon. Rawalpindi Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and other military officials attended funeral prayer.

Later, dead bodies of the martyred soldiers were sent to their native towns and buried with full military honours.
