Sharjeel Memon Sunday said that President Arif Alvi has always been a controversial character and his tweet proved that he is just trying to get himself mentioned in the political martyrs on the 11^th hour, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sharjeel Memon, while addressing a gathering in Karachi Press Club said that Arif Alvi’s tweet has proved he was not the President of Pakistan but the president of PTI’s Tiger Force. Sharjeel asked that why did Arif Alvi deny signing the bills now when it was already too late. He said that his apology at the end of his tweet is also a conspiracy against Pakistan. Imran Khan’s corruption put him behind bars and they will do anything to get the slightest of relief, said Sharjeel Memon.

He said that the Pakistan People’s party has a very clear majority in Sindh and they will also surprise their competitors in Punjab in the general elections. PPP is close to all the national organizations and we only want the elections to be held on their time, he added.

While condemning the Jaranwala church incident, he said that he stands in solidarity with the Christian community.
