Delhi schools receive bomb threats for 2nd straight day

As many as five schools in the Indian capital received bomb threats on Thursday, officials said, adding that Delhi Police and fire department officials are on the spot, conducting a search operation, reported Indian media

This comes a day after nearly 50 schools in the city received bomb threats via email.

BGS International Public School in Dwarka Sector 5 was among the locations where the threats were received today.

On Monday, more than 30 schools across Delhi received bomb threats, which later turned out to be hoaxes.

Two days later, on Wednesday, nearly 50 schools in the national capital again got similar threats through e-mail, which were also declared fake. DAV Public School, Faith Academy, Doon Public School, Sarvodhaya Vidyalaya, Rahul Model School, Maxfort School in Dwarka, SKV in Malviya Nagar, and Andhra School in Prasad Nagar were among those targeted.

According to police, the e-mails were sent by the same group, ‘Terrorizers 111’, which had also sent the messages on Monday.
