Iman Lakhani calls out ‘Tamasha 5’ after claiming her footage was ignored
Pakistani model and influencer Iman Lakhani, the first contestant to be eliminated from Tamasha 5, has raised serious questions about the reality show's editing, claiming that many of her important moments inside the house never made it to the broadcast.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Iman opened up about her experience on the show and alleged that a significant amount of her footage, including what she described as raw and uncut moments, was left out of the aired episodes.
According to Iman, the production appeared to give greater screen time to more established and well-known contestants, while lesser-known participants struggled to get their personalities and contributions noticed by viewers.
The influencer claimed that she gradually became discouraged inside the Tamasha house after feeling that much of her energy and involvement was not being reflected in the episodes shown on television.
Her comments have now sparked a debate among viewers. While one section of social media users sided with Iman, arguing that mainstream television often gives more attention to familiar faces and established celebrities, others defended the format of reality television.
Some viewers pointed out that Tamasha involves round the clock filming, meaning producers must condense hours of footage into a limited television episode. From their perspective, the editing naturally prioritizes dramatic confrontations, major developments and moments considered more engaging for viewers.
Iman's claims have nevertheless reopened the conversation surrounding reality TV editing and screen-time fairness, with viewers now questioning how much of a contestant's actual journey is seen by the audience and how much remains behind the cameras.
