Shooters involved in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Abdullah Tahir's murder have allegedly fled the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to sources in the CCD, accused Arsalan, Sikandar and Zeeshan fled the country through illegal means.

After the murderous attack on Abdullah Tahir in Lahore’s Gulberg area on July 29, the suspects had left the area.

A special team that went to the area to arrest the shooters has returned empty-handed.

It is suspected that the suspects were able to cross the border due to their contacts with banned organizations.

Due to the non-arrest of the main attackers, the CCD has not been able to determine the role of the main suspects yet.
