Quake felt in Islamabad and surrounding areas

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was felt in the federal capital and surrounding areas late Wednesday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Reports said the tremors were also felt in Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal. According to authorities, the depth of the earthquake was 25 kilometres, while its epicentre was the Skardu, Gilgil-Baltistan.

No casualties or damages have been reported so far. Reports said people came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
