PML-N MPA Irfan Shafi Khokhar passes away after heart attack

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of the Punjab Assembly Irfan Shafi Khokhar passed away on Sunday after suffering a sudden heart attack.

Irfan Shafi Khokhar was rushed to Doctors Hospital immediately after his condition deteriorated, but he could not survive. Advisor to the Punjab Chief Minister, Zeeshan Malik, confirmed his death.

Irfan Shafi Khokhar was elected as a Member of the Punjab Assembly from Lahore’s PP-167 constituency. He was the elder brother of PML-N's MNA Saiful Malook Khokhar.

He was also a cousin of Provincial Minister for Sports Faisal Ayub Khokhar.

Following his passing, the PML-N leadership and local leaders from his constituency expressed deep grief and extended condolences to the bereaved family. Party leaders paid tribute to his political services and described his death as a significant loss.
