Gladiators beat United in PSL V opener

The Quetta Gladiators beat Islamabad United by three wickets in the first match of Pakistan Super League 2020 at the National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

After being sent in to bat, United were all out for 168 with five balls to spare of their allotted 20 overs. Gladiators achieved the target with 9 balls to spare and three wickets in hand.

Islamabad United 168–10 in 20 overs (David Malan 64, Ronchi 23, Faheem 20; Muhammad Hussnain 4-25, B Cutting 3-31)

Quetta Gladiators 171-7 in 18.3 overs (Azam Khan 59, Muhammad Nawaz 23, B Cutting 22; Muhammad Musa 3-34).
