Top Pakistani filmstar Mehwish Hayat showing her love for the game of cricket has expressed pleasure that the game has returned back to Pakistan.

The actress attended the historic opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 at the National Stadium in Karachi on Thursday but did not take part in it.

The beauty took to Twitter to tell her followers and others that Pakistan is ready to host all major sporting events and it is a country which loves peace.

“Great feeling to be at the National Stadium tonight & watch international players once again playing cricket in Pakistan. Let’s show the world that we are able to host major sporting events again,” she wrote.

The actress also featured in Peshawar Zalmi’s anthem along with colleague Hania Aamir.
