A woman gave birth to quintuplets –three baby girls and two boys – at a private hospital in Mardan Friday evening.

The doctors at the hospital termed the condition of both the mother and her newborns healthy and satisfactory. The woman, wife of Nasir Khan, a resident of Ghundao, Katlung area of Mardan District, was brought to the private hospital with severe labour pain. At the hospital, the woman gave birth to quintuplets. The woman had already given birth to twins. Doctors said that both the woman and her kids are absolutely normal after birth.

The birth of five kids pleased the family and they distributed sweets.

Nasir Khan expressed his joy over the birth of five kids and termed work of “Allah SWT.”

He said they are grateful to Allah Almighty for blessing them with such a great “honour.”
