Poll date, NAB chief resignation: PM summons PML-N meeting today

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned a consultative meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz later today (Tuesday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The meeting will be held after a short while at the Prime Minister House.
Sources said that senior party leaders would participate in the huddle.
The conclave will ponder over the announcement of polls date for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies by the President.
The PML-N meeting will hold consultations over its next political strategy. It will take a detailed review of all the constitutional and legal aspects.
It will also deliberate on the current political situation of the country.
The meeting will also hold consultation on new NAB chairman following the resignation of its incumbent chief Aftab Sultan.
Party MNAs call on prime minister
Meanwhile, Members of National Assembly Sheikh Rohale Asghar and Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh separately called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed overall political situation as well as matters pertaining to their constituencies.
Former MNA Hanif Abbasi also called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.
