Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Children Hospital Lahore and inspected various sections of the healthcare facility, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The chief minister scolded the hospital staff for showing negligence and carelessness. He also issued directions for departmental action against those who were absent from duty. 

Punjab CM showed his dismay over the lack of extending the facilities to the patient. The parents of the children were using hand pumps to give oxygen to them. However, when the CM visited the top floor the ventilator machines were free and were not under use. He ordered shifting of the children to the ventilators and also bashed the authorities for their lack of professionalism. 

In this regard, CM Mohsin Naqvi has summoned a meeting on Wednesday to improve the affairs of the Children Hospital.
