Earthquake tremors jolt Kalat, trigger panic among residents

Earthquake tremors were felt in the Kalat city and its surrounding areas, causing panic among residents on Saturday evening.

According to seismologists, the intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 3.5 on the Richter scale. The epicentre of the quake was located approximately 45 kilometres south of Kalat city at a depth of 11 kilometres underground.

The tremors led to fear and panic among citizens, many of whom rushed out of their homes as a precautionary measure.

No immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received so far.
