Kim Kardashian shares rare 1987 talent show throwback

According to Kardashian, the group performed Heaven Is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle, a chart-topping anthem that defined the late ’80s.

In her caption, Kim reminisced about rehearsing in a friend’s basement and revealed that her grandmother fondly known as MJ sourced their coordinated outfits from her boutique.

She also shared that her late father recorded the performance, adding that she hopes to track down the old footage.

The post sparked a wave of nostalgia among fans, who were quick to comment on how the young performer already had the poise and presence that would later define her global brand.

The throwback comes months after Kardashian shared another intimate family memory, a childhood photo featuring her late father, Robert Kardashian, and mother, Kris Jenner.

Robert, who passed away in 2003, has often been credited by Kim as a steady influence during her formative years.

Kris and Robert were married from 1978 until 1991 and welcomed four children together before parting ways. Kris later married Caitlyn Jenner, expanding the family further.
