Sindh to build shelter homes for senior citizens

The Sindh government on Friday announced its plans to build shelter homes for senior citizens in 13 districts of the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

All senior citizens with 60 years and above age group would be eligible for staying at the shelter homes where they will be provided with basic facilities.

The Sindh government has also allocated land for shelter homes in the 13 districts which are: West Korangi, Kemari, Hyderabad, Badin, Matiari, Noshwero Feroz, Larkana, Qambar, Shehdat kot, Tando Allah Yar, Tatha and Umarkot.

The construction work will start this June, however, the homes will be completed in 2023.
