UN deadline lapse, India remains silent on Indus Waters Treaty

India remains silent on Indus Waters Treaty and has failed to respond during the deadline set by the UN Special Rapporteurs on the Indus Waters Treaty, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

India was asked to respond by December 16, 2026, on the actions related to the Indus Waters Treaty. New Delhi has not responded even after 34 days of the deadline. India still fails to explain its actions. 

UN still awaiting India's response on the treaty. Questions persist over Indus Waters Treaty, but New Delhi remains silent which is becoming the center of global attention.
