Man in Faisalabad kills wife pregnant with third girl
Despite the fact that we are living in the 21st century and claim to have matured as a society, there are still areas in our country, and that too not far from urban areas, where giving birth to a baby girl is still considered to be a stigma, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
In one such incident reported from Khurrianwala near Faisalabad, a man clubbed his wife to death only because she had already given birth to two girls, and was now going to give birth to a third one.
Police said the man’s wife had conceived a third child and the ultrasound report had revealed that the third one was also a girl.
Police said they had arrested the man.
