Mamya Shajaffar faces public ire for audacious fashion during trip to Thailand
Mamya Shajaffar, also known as Maham Shahid, has once again landed herself in hot water for the same reason of fearlessly flaunting controversial and skimpy fashion options during her day outs. Lately, the emerging actress raised eyebrows for her bold vacation look during a trip to Thailand with her husband, Farooq Gul.
Photos from the couple's holiday have gone viral on social media, in which Mamya can be spotted enjoying vacation time with hubby, exploring various destinations, restaurants, picturesque locations, also having a time of life beach with her man.
However, it was her bold choice of dress that did not sit well with users online, calling her outfit vulgar and accusing her of promoting indecency.
She was wearing a revealing beach fit, a blouse with catchy skirts.
Commenting on her fashion look, a user wrote: "The only way to get famous when you don't have talent."
Another added: "Meray khayal main ye Pakistan ki sab say behaya aurat hai" (In my opinion, she is the most shameless woman in Pakistan).
A comment reads as: "Aur phir in jaison ka kya bhugatna parta hai poori awaam ko" (And then the whole nation has to suffer because of people like them).
The negativity was widespread. Very few voices were in support of Mamya’s freedom of expression.
Mamya Shahjaffar has grabbed the spotlight after making an appearance in the drama serial Meesani. She later showed her acting powers in Jhok Sarkar, College Gate, Faraar & Jaan Se Pyara Juni.
