Ishaq Dar reviews preparations for Pakistan’s upcoming diplomatic engagements

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to review preparations for Pakistan’s upcoming diplomatic engagements.

Foreign Secretary Amina Baloch and senior officials of the ministry attended the meeting.

Officials briefed Dar on the schedule of forthcoming diplomatic activities and the arrangements being made for Pakistan’s participation.

The meeting reviewed measures to effectively present Pakistan’s national priorities and strengthen coordination among relevant ministries and government departments.

Dar directed the Foreign Ministry to maintain close coordination with all stakeholders and ensure comprehensive preparations for the upcoming engagements.

He stressed that Pakistan’s interests must be effectively protected and promoted during diplomatic interactions.

The foreign minister also directed officials to remain fully prepared for forthcoming diplomatic activities and ensure that Pakistan’s positions were presented clearly and consistently.
