Maryam shares Nawaz letter to mark Father’s Day
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has paid a tribute to his father Nawaz Sharif on Sunday to mark the International Father’s Day and shared a letter which he wrote to her when they were both in Adiala Jail.
Paying tribute to Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz in a tweet on Sunday shared the letter from her father which he wrote on October 11, 2019.
In her tweet, Maryam said, “Every day is Father’s Day for me but today there is no greater tribute than this little letter. Even moving from one victimization to other, the father was not concerned about his own self, but about the daughter lying in the other solitary cell in jail.”
She said, “One life is not enough to sacrifice on such a father!”

She posted a letter in which Nawaz Sharif said to her daughter Maryam Nawaz, “Dear daughter Maryam, Assalam-o-Alaikum. Today NAB people have been taking me for Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. I pray may Allah Almighty make things easy for all. Take care of yourself and don’t be afraid. My prayers are with you. Goodbye. Your father.”
