Teen girl martyred, mother injured in Indian troops firing across LoC

A teenaged girl was martyred in Indian army’s unprovoked firing across Line of Control in Azad Kashmir.
According to a statement released by the ISPR director general on Sunday, the Indian army troops initiated the unprovoked ceasefire violation in Hajipir and Bedori Sectors along the Line of Control Saturday night targeting the civilian population.
Due to the indiscriminate firing of the Indian troops on Mensar Village of Bedori Sector, a 13-year-old innocent girl, Iqra Shabbir, embraced shahadat (martyrdom), while her mother and a 12-year-old boy sustained serious injuries.
Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to the Indian unprovoked firing.

On June 17 also, Indian military resorted to unprovoked firing in Nikial and Bagsar Sectors along the Line of Control in Azad Kashmir, in which four innocent civilians including a woman in Ratta Jabbar and Lewana Khaiter villages embraced shahadat.
One civilian also got injured.
Pakistan Foreign Office in Islamabad has paraded Indian envoy to the Foreign Ministry every time there was a ceasefire violation by the trigger-happy Indian troops across the Line of Control in Azad Kashmir, to register Islamabad’s protest over Indian soldiers barbaric targeting of the civilian population.
