Prime Minister Imran Khan's aide on Middle East Affairs Allama Allama Tahir Ashrafi has strongly condemned the Houthis attack on Saudi Arabia, reported a 24News HD TV channel on Sunday.

In a statement, Tahir Ashrafi said that the Pakistan government and the public would never compromise on the safety of the Holy Places and Saudi Arabia. He said that Houthis were a danger to the peace of the region.  He said that the drone attacks on the unarmed Saudi populace were an open violation of international laws. Pakistan stands with Saudi Arabia for the protection of Ḥaraman al-Sharifan, he added.

Ashrafi said that Prime Minister Iman Khan's blunt denial regarding giving Pakistani bases to the US was a true depiction of the nation’s feelings. Pakistan has expressed its stance on Afghanistan, he added.
