A policeman was martyred and two others injured seriously after a speeding water tanker rammed into a police mobile on Aziz Bhatti University Road in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to police, the martyred policeman was identified as Usama.

The police impounded the water tanker. They also arrested its driver and launched further investigations.

Cop fractures leg as trolley-trolley hits police van in Lahore

A policeman fractured his leg on Tuesday after a speeding tractor-trolley hit a patrolling van of police near Muslim Town in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the driver of the tractor-trolley fled the scene after the incident.

The police impounded the tractor-trolley and shifted the injured policeman to a hospital for treatment.

Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana took notice of the incident and sought a report from the Iqbal Town superintendent of police (SP).

The CCPO directed to provide the best medical facilities to the injured policeman at the hospital. He also ordered to ensure immediate arrest of the tractor-trolley driver.
