In-camera NSC meeting to be held on Wednesday at PM House

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called a high sensitive in-camera meeting of the parliamentary National Security Committee (NSC) at the PM House on Wednesday at 3 pm.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) Director-General Nadeem Anjum will give a briefing on national security issues in the in-camera meeting.
As per the channel report, the government has given a special invitation to the former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad to attend the meeting in the PM House.
It is pertinent to mention here that Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi had moved a motion in the National Assembly to allocate a House for the Parliamentary Committee on National Security which was approved yesterday.
The motion of Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that the meeting would be held the following day or any other day in the National Assembly Hall.
The minister said on the occasion that the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security would be held within the following three days, the time of which would be fixed shortly.
So today, the venue of the meeting has been changed from the National Assembly Hall to the Prime Minister’s House.
