Govt to set up Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Services Hospital

Punjab Government has decided to set up state of the art institute for the treatment of diabetes and endocrinology, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel on Saturday.

The proposed Punjab Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology will be set up at Services Hospital, Lahore. The government has allocated Rs 200 million for the project in the provincial budget. 

Officials confirmed that the existing Diabetes Center at Services Hospital will be upgraded and granted the status of a modern institute to enhance diabetes care and research facilities in the province.
