Terrorist killed in attack on DI Khan police

A terrorist of Fitna al-Khwarij was gunned down and two others seriously injured when armed terrorists attacked a police party in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, Fitna al-Khwarij terrorists attacked the police party in Malang area as they were returning after performing their duties in Takuara area.

In retaliation, the police party thwarted their attack. During heavy exchange of firing, a hardened terrorist of the banned terrorist organization Tahreek-e-Taliban Gandapur Group, Fateh son of Hanan, sent to hell and two others seriously injured.

A fresh police contingent under the supervision of District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada, along with SP Saddar reached the spot and started and search and strike operation to apprehend the terrorists.

Inspector-General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed lauded police party for foiling the terrorist attack of Fitna al Khawarij terrorists and announced awards for the jawans.

He said that government is committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from society.
