Pop singer Fakhr-e-Alam has always been expressive about his feelings and perspectives on social media.
Taking to twitter, the singer posted a video and advised PM Imran Khan to enforce a coronavirus lockdown in the country.
In his video message, Alam says, “Dear honourable PM Imran Khan, it is a humble request to you to please reconsider a lockdown before it’s too late. I could be wrong and I know you are worried about social unrest but we can end up in a far worse place. #CoronaVirusPakistan.”
Dear honorable PM @ImranKhanPTI sir it is a humble request to you please re consider. A lockdown before it’s too late. This Video is in two parts. I could be wrong & I know you are worried about social unrest but we can end up in a far worse place. #CoronaVirusPakistan pic.twitter.com/Tp8yRkpXAW

He continued: “As a humble citizen, I want to say the government has appealed to the people on the one hand to stay at home and practise social distancing. But as a result, the move also impacts the lower-income class and the regular wage earners, because people don't go out or go to work, and the regular earner doesn't earn something as it is.”
He further adds, “I propose that we should build rationing depots at various points in our cities, especially in areas where the lower-income class exists. And we should make a complete two-week lockdown, so we can alleviate this disease.”
Secondly, school fees need to be paid off because parents won't work in this serious situation.”
Alam says Pakistanis are not taking the virus seriously and are going out to picnics when they should really be staying at home. I request people to avoid public gatherings, wash hands regularly and be careful.
