Imran Khan s Tigers expose PTI well-off members

March 21, 2023 02:05 AM

A viral video has laid bare the secrets of the visit of the well-off members of the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to former prime minister Imran Khan.

Following the call of Imran Khan, many workers and supporters have been out to guard Imran Khan – who brands them as ‘PTI Tigers’. A Tiktoker recently interviewed them and posted it on social media.

In the footage, a ‘Tigress’ took a dig at the leaders leaving the venue after having their interest served.

According to her, the so-called leaders have nothing to do with the cause they just came to get party tickets.

When asked where were they going, their replies showed they had something more important than the objective of the gathering.

Imran Khan has been on a campaign for snap polls since his ouster from the prime minister's office through a vote of confidence in April last.

He alleged a US-concocted plot behind the regime change because of his independent foreign police. However, the US denied any wrongdoing.

Last week, clashes erupted between police and supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore, making police fire teargas and use water cannons.

According to Imran Khan, he would be arrested and disqualified as, him, his political rivals wanted him to be out of the scene.

Following the registration of cases, he has been urging his supporters to come to the streets to stem his arrest.

In one of his messages to his supporters, he stressed his supporters should fight for their rights – “for real freedom” – if he is arrested.

“Police are here to send me to jail. They think if Imran Khan goes to jail, this nation will go to sleep. You have to prove them wrong.

“If something happens to me if they send me to jail, or if I am killed, you have to show you can fight without me as well,” Khan said.
