Pakistan sends 1.6 ton of medicines to economic-hit Lebanon

A consignment of 1.6 ton of medicines has been dispatched to economic-hit Lebanon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to Pakistan Embassy in Lebanon, there is a severe shortage of medicines due to the economic crisis in Lebanon.

The medicines have been dispatched to Beirut for the people of Lebanon under a joint initiative of Pakistan Embassy in Lebanon and Pakistan Pharmaceutical Association.

The medicines will soon be handed over to the Lebanese health minister.

The medicines sent from Pakistan will be provided to the poor and needy patients in Lebanon.
