It is no secret that Pakistani star Muneeb Butt has been receiving unbelievable appreciation for his outstanding acting skills as a ‘transgender’ in short drama serial ‘Sar-e-Rah’.

However we are so proud to inform our readers that the talented Pakistani showbiz member has also received an award from US Consul General Nicole Theriot and the Mission Director US Aid Mr. Reed J. Aeschliman, over his incredible performance. 

A grand event took place at Marriot Hotel in Karachi in order to celebrate the success of ‘Sar-e-Rah’: An informational mini-drama series shedding light on issues that need to be properly addressed but don’t receive much recognition due to being highly controversial. 

During the lavish ceremony that took place at Marriot, Muneeb Butt received an award for performing the role of a ‘transgender’ with amazing accuracy.

‘Sar-e-Rah’ stars actors Saba Qamar, Hareem Farooq, Muneeb Butt, Sunita Marshall, Saboor Aly, Mikaal Zulfiqar, and Agha Mustafa in lead roles.

Through Sar-e-Rah, Muneeb made an effort to challenge the fixed mindset of our society regarding the transgender community.

‘Sar-e-Rah’ has been written by famous writer Adeel Razzaq and directed by Adeel Bhatti under the production of ‘I Dream’.
