SCBA delegation calls on Nawaz Sharif in Lahore

A delegation of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) headed by President Rauf Ata on Friday held a detailed meeting with Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) President Nawaz Sharif in Jatiumra, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A statement issued by SCBA stated that during the meeting recent terrorism incidents in Balochistan were discussed.

The SCBA delegation appealed to former prime minister to unite all political leaders of Balochistan. 

Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar was also present during the meeting.

They urged Nawaz Sharif that national consensus mandatory to address issues of Balochistan.

During the meeting Nawaz Sharif expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the recent incidents of terrorism in Balochistan.

The former prime minister assured the delegation that he will play active role to bring peace and prosperity in the Balochistan province.

Balochistan High Court Bar Association President Ataullah Lango was also present during the meeting.

Earlier, on March 20, 2025, former prime minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, who was due to leave for Saudi Arabia has dropped his plan following an advice by doctors to take complete rest owing to a heart problem.  

Sources told 24News TV channel that his family doctor, Dr. Adnan, was examining him and had advised him to use pacemakers.
