Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi pays tribute to martyrs in Eid greetings

Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the nation, saying the blessed occasion reminds Muslims of the values of patience, piety and sacrifice instilled during the holy month of Ramazan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

In his message, the interior minister said Eid carries a powerful message of remembering those in need and sharing happiness with the underprivileged. He stressed that the spirit of the day lies in spreading smiles, strengthening bonds and bringing hearts closer together.

Highlighting the current global and regional challenges, he said the Muslim ummah today needs unity, harmony and solidarity more than ever before. He urged people to foster compassion and mutual understanding in their daily lives.

Paying tribute to the country’s martyrs, Naqvi said the nation salutes the great sacrifices of those who sacrificed their present for a peaceful future of Pakistan. He added that the sacrifices of martyrs and their families would always be remembered with honour and respect.

The minister also acknowledged the services of security personnel who remain away from their loved ones while safeguarding the country’s borders, ensuring peace and stability.

He urged citizens to remember in their prayers all Muslims facing hardships and ظلم across the world, praying that Allah grants them relief and strengthens the unity and resilience of the Muslim ummah. He concluded by praying for the acceptance of fasts and prayers for peace and prosperity for the nation.
