New BTS album sells almost four million copies in first day: record label

BTS's new album "ARIRANG" sold 3.98 million copies in the first day, the K-pop group's label Big Hit Music said Saturday, citing local album sales tracker Hanteo Chart.

The album was released on Friday a day ahead of a huge concert by BTS after an almost four-year hiatus that was expected to draw some 260,000 people to central Seoul.
