Sharjeel Memon says Pakistan will teach Afghan regime the same lesson as India

Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon warned that those who seek to harm Pakistan would face the same fate as India, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday. 

Speaking after performing Eid prayers at his residence in Tando Jam on Saturday, he stated that the Taliban regime has historically tried to undermine Pakistan and prayed for the nation’s success as the armed forces confront adversaries.

Memon emphasised that Pakistan’s defence capabilities are highly advanced, attributing much of this strength to the legacy of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and the missile technology provided by the late Benazir Bhutto, placing the country among the world’s powerful nations in strategic defence.

He also highlighted Sindh’s top-tier healthcare facilities, noting that the province continues to implement austerity measures, including grounding 60 percent of government vehicles to reduce expenditures. 

Addressing economic concerns, Memon remarked on rising fuel prices and ongoing shortages. He announced that senior officials, including himself, would forgo three months’ salaries and indicated that similar tough decisions may be necessary in the private sector.

Regarding the ongoing regional tensions with Afghanistan, the minister clarified that while no lockdown is being considered, smart working policies are being enforced to maintain operational efficiency. 

He urged national unity in the face of challenges, calling on citizens to remain resilient and committed to the country’s stability and prosperity.
