On Thursday, the PML-N president went to Charsadda to express his condolences over the death of veteran Awami National Party (ANP) leader Begum Naseem Wali Khan.
Talking about the NRO, Shehbaz questioned the logic behind this argument saying what kind of deal they could have possibly made when they were facing jails.
Shehbaz Sharif lamented that the government had deteriorated the economy, adding that poverty and inflation had made people’s lives miserable.
He said the government gave billions of rupees in subsidies to the sugar exporters.
Shehbaz Sharif criticized the government approach towards handling the Covid-19 pandemic saying that the government relied on the donated vaccines and let the situation get out of hand. He said in terms of inoculating the population, Pakistan lagged behind even Bangladesh.
