The health of six members of a family including four children deteriorated after they consumed the milk of a "rabid buffalo" in the Fort Abbas area of the Punjab province.

 According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a stray dog attacked and bit a buffalo and its two calves in the suburban area of Fort Abbas. As a result of this, two calves died soon after they were bitten. 

But, the buffalo took a while to die.

Unknowingly, her infected milk was consumed by the owner’s family. 

Six members of the family including four children, a man, and a woman had to rush to a Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Fort Abbas as their health became deteriorated soon after consuming the milk.

According to medical sources, all family members are out of danger now.
