Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani becomes acting president

Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has been appointed as acting President, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The appointment was made due to the foreign visit of President Asif Ali Zardari.

The Cabinet Secretariat issued a formal notification in this regard.
