Prince Harry and Meghan absent from Time's New philanthropy power list

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been left out of Time Magazine’s newly launched list celebrating the world’s most influential philanthropists.

The 2025 edition of Time’s “Greatest Do-Gooders” honours public figures known for their meaningful contributions to humanitarian work. 

Among those featured are household names like Oprah Winfrey, David Beckham, and the Prince and Princess of Wales – all acknowledged for their enduring efforts in charitable and social causes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were previously included in Time’s annual Time100 lists in 2018 and 2021, did not make the cut this time. 

The omission has drawn attention, especially given the couple’s well-publicised work through the Archewell Foundation, which supports mental health, community relief, and digital responsibility initiatives.

Though they have often positioned themselves as global changemakers, public response to their philanthropic branding has been mixed. 

Their past appearances on similar lists sparked debate, with some critics questioning the impact of their work. This latest development may add fuel to ongoing conversations about their evolving public image since stepping back from royal duties.

While Harry and Meghan continue to champion various causes from their base in the US, their exclusion from the list suggests a shift in how their influence is being perceived in the philanthropic sphere.
