Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Advisory Committee has been formed for Local Bodies elections in Punjab under the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the committee is comprised of PTI Chief Organizer Saifullah Niazi, Secretary-General Amir Kiyani, Punjab Local Government Minister Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed and regional presidents of Punjab.

According to the sources, the committee would forward the recommendations for eligible candidates to award the party tickets to participate in the local body elections.

The sources also said that the committee would also work with like-minded parties for seat adjustment before the said polls.
