In the closing ceremony of the 17th National Women’s Swimming 2021, prizes were distributed among the athletes who took a position, reported 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.

The event was organized by the Pakistan Women's Swimming Association at Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore.

The ceremony was attended by the association’s chairperson Sara Ahmed as a special guest, who distributed prizes among the athletes.

Sara had encouraged all women to participate in swimming competitions.

 Sara said women swimmers have participated in all international competitions.

Pakistani women swimmers have won medals in the South Asian Games, added Sara.

Sara further said that such sporting activities help give our women more opportunities to move forward.

In the end, Sara Ahmed was presented a shield by the Pakistan Women's Swimming Association.
