The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday adjourned the petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill for the dismissal of the sedition case against him for an indefinite period of time, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq conducted hearing on the petition of Shahbaz Gill.

“Has the trial been initiated and the challan submitted?” the IHC chief justice inquired.

“Has the indictment been announced?” he inquired further.

“Copies of the challan have been distributed, and indictment will be announced tomorrow,” the state council told the court.

“The challan has been submitted. You can approach the trial court,” the IHC chief justice asked the petitioner’s counsel.

It then adjourned the hearing of the case for an indefinite period of time.
