Lollywood blockbuster 'The Legend of Maula Jutt' Monday became the first ever Pakistani movie to break the record of crossing Rs2billion milestone, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Legend of Maula Jutt not only crossed this benchmark but also became the first ever Punjabi film to have achieved the Rs2billion milestone.

According to the details, Indian Punjabi films like “Carry-on Jatta 2, Saukan Saukane, Chal Mera Putt 2, Haunsla Rakh and Shadda held the records with $7.2million, $6.8 and $6.6 million USDs but the Lollywood Action-thriller Blockbuster broke all the records and made $9million USD and still has not stopped.

In Pakistan, it made a business of Rs 75.49 million in five weeks, while the business of the sixth weekend alone earned this film a business of Rs 80.89 million in Pakistan.

The collective collection from overseas for The Legend of Maula Jutt was counted to be more than Rs1.24billion and the worldwide business including the domestic key figures reached up to Rs2.05billion.
